Stop Striving.

Thanksgiving Covid-19 edition.

I’ve been MIA this week because I’ve been feeling exhausted, burned out, out of sorts. Whenever I feel this way I want to give up on my endeavors. I ask myself why even bother trying to build something when I don’t see results. Being a mom of two, a wife, working part time remotely and building my side businesses it and dealing with covid can be a lot. I often have to discern who needs my time and energy. This week I needed time to myself, time to unplug and shower myself with lots of grace. Can I remind you, It’s okay not to have it all together. It’s okay not to have your house in order all the time. It’s okay to take a break. To not post on social or scroll. It’s okay to take time to recharge. You don’t have to explain to anyone. Only you know what your body needs. I needed some quiet time. A hot bath. To dry brush. To light a candle. To listen to Carrie Underwood’s new Christmas album. To make me a gingerbread tea. To read my bible. To write in my journal. To stop striving. And most importantly To rest in His abiding presence. He renews my spirits, sparks the light within me.

What matters most to you?

Thankful for my husband @chrisryandesign He loves me with scars and all! He has always seen the potential in me even when I didn’t see it in myself. We both are creatives. We both are orderly. We both love God.We both value community. We both believe in leaving a legacy of faith. We both want our children to focus on what really matters. We both focus on keeping our peace. We both want to love well. The world can be very noisy, very confusing, very misleading, but one thing is constant in our life. His name is Jesus. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. ✨ His love is unfailing. We both love to go out to the country to experience the presence of God. To realign ourselves, and remind ourselves what’s important in this life. ✨ Family, loving well, and leading well. An intentional life. With God in the center of it all!

✨ Last week I had to change scenery so I went to @craftworkcoffeeco to finish up my work. What was I doing I was styling clients. ☺️ Yes! I work part time as a fashion stylist. I also design jewelry, I lifecoach and I’m a self-published author. My name is Reyna I’m a multi creative and I’m no longer hiding or apologizing for the gifts God gave me. I do a collective of things to bring in passive income and so I can have flexibility with my schedule. Why? Because I want to focus on what matters most to me and that is my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧. So a 9-5 job is not my cup of tea ☕️. Which is why I decided to take a risk a couple years ago and be an entrepreneur #mompreneur. Being an entrepreneur means you are a risk-taker. Money isn’t always coming in, and times can be quiet when there isn’t much movement, then there are days when everything just seems to be aligning and you know that you were created for this! 🙏🏽🌈 ✨ Keep believing in yourself. Thank God for the gifts He gave you! To all my multi-creatives stop apologizing! Use your gifts to stir up this world, and to bring light to your life and the life of others. Live your best life!

I wonder where your obedience will take you- God

Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever envisioned that I get to share the book that God placed on my heart to write at the group where I once received freedom. House group -Freedom group at The House Fort Worth

Last night I got to share my testimony – a recovery timeline of all that God has done in my life. How he turned my ashes into something beautiful.

I am thankful for this opportunity and journey.

Remember our recovery is not for us to keep but to give away to others.
